Delete your Tailor Made account
You can delete your account yourself, at any time, and it takes effect straight away.
In the app
- Open Profile, then Settings.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm, with your password if you have one.
On the web
Sign in, open Settings, and choose Delete my account.
If you can't sign in
Email contact@techlyafrica.com from the address on your account, and ask us to delete it. We reply within 7 days.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in: email address, password, and any Google sign-in link. You are signed out everywhere.
- Your name, phone number, address, location and profile photo.
- Your measurements and measurement photos.
- Your cart, saved items, follows, likes and comments, and your notifications.
- For tailors: your shop details, bank payout link, and your posted looks. Your shop page and listings are taken down.
What is kept
- Orders and payments, without your name, address or measurements. The law requires us to keep records of sales and payments, and the other person in the order keeps their own record of it.
- Messages you sent, so the person you wrote to still has their conversation. They show as from “Deleted user”.
- Reviews you left, shown as from “Deleted user”.
Before you delete
Orders in progress have to be finished or cancelled first, so no one is left with work or money unsettled. See cancellations and refunds.
